This is worth it!!!!

I have decided to visit my sisters and mom in Michigan and my big brother in Georgia this summer. In order to go I needed to earn some money, so I started watching a 4 month old baby all week (and her 4 year old sister Kayleen on Tuesdays and Thursdays). This is on top of the three kids I already watch all week. This is how my day goes: Addison gets dropped off about 7:30 with her older sister, Morgan. At 8:00 we are out the door dropping off my older three and Morgan at school. At 12:30 we drop Anna and Kayleen off at pre-school. At 2:30 the three other kids (Abby, Eli, and Jarred "Marcus") get dropped off and at 3:20 we leave to pick-up Jared and Anna at school and drop off Addison to her mom-who is picking up Kayleen at Anna's preschool. We get home at 3:45 to have snack and start homework. Austin gets home at 3:50 or 4:50 if he stated after school and Joey gets home around 4:45. Then its dinner time, finish up with homework, FHE (Monday) piano (Tuesday) YM or achievement day (Wednesday), Softball (Thursday), or Volleyball (Friday). Scriptures at 8:00 and bed at 8:30. Abby, Eli, and Marcus get picked up at around 10:00 and I fall into bed sometime between 10:30 and 11:00. William gets up about 2-3 times during the night and I'm up at 6-6:30 to start the day over again. Whenever I feel like I'm going to scream I just keep thinking, "Michigan-Georgia, Michigan-Georgia, This is for Michigan and Georgia."

I CAN'T WAIT FOR JULY!!!!!!

Camping

We went camping over spring break. Lyle was able to take Thursday and Friday off and it was wonderful. We went up to Prescott. It got a little cold in the evenings (upper 30's)but was nice during the day (low 70's). When we were packing up on Saturday the wind picked up so we were leaving just in time. The kids had fun but were ready for so much needed baths!

The kids at "Rock Mania". This is a place they found during there exploring. I didn't know if I should be scared of how far away it was to camp or proud that the kids found there way back.

Anyone want a Oreo?

I gave William his first Oreo on Friday. It was love at first bite. I gave him a bath after, it was just easier. He also LOVES his baths so it worked out well.

William Crawling

After weeks of being right on the edge my little man has started to crawl. I was teaching the Sunbeam class and Lyle had William. Lyle was out in the foyer with our sitter. She brought a bottle of Pepsi and that is what he crawled after (going for the caffeine, just like his dad). Now he is all over the house. He crawls normal but every once-in-a-while he does what I call the Mowgli crawl (from the Jungle Book). Here are the pictures:
William Sucking his thumb (that is his second favorite thing-Mom is his first)

Isn't that the funniest crawl? Oh well, he is just so dang cute!

My New Toy

After bugging my husband for the last month I finally got what I wanted with some of our tax return. (This is after he bought two somethings) On the way home from Lyle's union picnic we picked up a Wii and Wii Fit! I have really enjoyed playing with it all thought not as much as my husband who was up until 3 am playing. He did the boxing for about 2-2 1/2 hours and today is VERY sore. I'm just laughing at him today. I am very exited to play on the Fit and can't wait to work some more.

Williams nap

I can't get William to take a nap for longer than 45 minutes. Sunday he went to sleep with me in my bed and sleep for 2 hours! Silly me could only sleep for a 1/2 hour. As you can tell from the picture he is really OUT.

Cat in the Hat

Anna's school celbrated Dr. Suess's b-day on Monday. She was ready to get the black stuff off her face as soon as we got home. Doesn't she look so cute!

William's Bike Ride

Lyle took William on his first bike ride. He loved it! Lyle said that he was kicking him and talking the whole time. I'm glad that he is getting old enough. Maybe I will start taking him on bike rides more often.
