Cool Cupcakes

I found this idea for cupcakes in the Family Fun Magazine. I thought I would make them for the Young Woman for Birthday Sunday (One Sunday a month that we celebrate every ones birthday. We do it even when none of the girls have a birthday that month because its someones birthday that month).

I thought they would be perfect because the theme for girls camp is VIP, Very Important Princess. The crowns are made from Laffy Taffy and kept melting on me.

This is a close of of the cupcakes

Some crowns that didn't make it.

The Young Woman thought they were so cute, but that didn't keep them from eating them up quickly.

Kindergarten Graduation

Anna loved kindergarten this year. She loved learning to read, doing math, and socializing with her friends. She had the same teacher as Josie and Jared (and William, when the time comes). Anna with her diploma

Anna's 6th Birthday

Anna was very happy to have her birthday cake and ice cream. I think William enjoyed it more than anyone. A couple of days later I took her to the store to spend her money. She was so happy to be in charge of everything. Her brothers and sister were trying to get her to buy what they wanted. It was funny to watch her turn them down.

Kindergarten Awards

Alhambra Tradition School held their Kindergarten Awards Ceremony about a week before school ended. Anna was so happy. She loved kindergarten and can't wait until school starts again. She got an award for reading more than 25 books and doing good in math. She is a social butterfly just like her sister and loves all her friends that she met this year.

The good thing about the school she attends is that the likelihood of her graduating from 8 grade with the same kids is high.
