The kids school pictures. They are getting so grown-up.
This blog is made to keep family and friends up to date on the Barnes family life and sometimes a personal journal for me.

Josie's 10th Birthday
Josie turned 10 on Sunday. I can't believe how grown-up she is. Ever since visiting my sister in MI and using skates owned by my niece, that's all she ever talked about and wanted for her b-day. We got them early and I forgot to hide them so she found them in the car. We let her have them so she has been skating around the house A LOT.
For those of you who know her you know that she LOVES horses. About 6 months ago we were at Albersons and she found a horse cake that they had. When we went back to order it they did not have it anymore but the decorator stated that she could draw one on the cake. Josie, not wanting to make waves, said that was OK thinking "how can they draw with frosting and make a good cake"
When we picked up the cake she was very happy the way it turned out. I think they did a good job also.

Happy Birthday Josephine. Mom loves you!

My little BIG man
The kids love this picture of William because he looks like a missionary. I just think he is cute.
He is sick right now and is losing his voice. This is great because he is in the screaming/screeching stage right now. He sounds so cute but sad at the same time. He has his 15 month well check tomorrow (yes he is 15 months today), so we will see what the doctor has to say.

Hunting
Lyle got drawn this year for deer (first time in the last 14 years). This has taken over his life! About 2/3 of the conversations we have are around this hunting trip. So, he was getting out his gun that needs to be sighted in and William was very interested in what daddy was doing in the big black box (the safe) that never gets opened. He would not let Lyle put the gun away! LOL, I guess we start them young in this house.
