Before we left on my Michigan/Georgia trip I got a ticket for going 39 MPH in a 25 MPH zone. I admit that I was running late and trying to make up time, but that cop should not have been at the bottom of the overpass. Over $ 200.00 later I finished the class (on-line, thank goodness) and took the test the morning that we left on the trip (and passed with 100%).
Driving back from our trip (less than a month later) I wanted to get home to Lyle and was caught by photo radar in Tucson (about 2 hours from home) going 65 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. Again, the speed had just dropped from 65 to 55 and when I realized it they took my picture. $ 214.00 later I now drive the speed limit or maybe 1 or 2 miles over, but I have thought of hiring this guy to drive me around.
This blog is made to keep family and friends up to date on the Barnes family life and sometimes a personal journal for me.

Primary Program
Our Primary had their program yesterday. I was able to sit on the bench with just myself and William. It was great other than William wanted to go up to his brothers, sisters and father! The kids did great with their parts and sang "If I Were a Child" with another family. This was bitter-sweet as this is Austin's last program (which he is VERY happy about).

I will NEVER Forget!
Thank you to everyone who fights for our freedoms in this great country of ours. Were we are free to disagree with the politicians and not get killed. Were I can roam around and do almost anything even if I'm a woman, and were my opinions can be expressed (even if no one is listening)
I will never forget the lives lost. The husband, wives, fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, grandparents, children, and grand children who were so selflessly killed by cold hearted men. I will NEVER forget waking up to my alarm radio talking about the twin towers, the pentagon, and the empty field. I will NEVER forget the conversations with my husband as I drove into work. I will NEVER forget moving a TV so that we could watch the coverage at work. I will NEVER forget looking down at my 8 1/2 month belly wondering what kind of world I was bringing my child it to. I will NEVER forget having to explain to my other children what was going on.
I will NEVER forget!

D-backs game 2009
Lyle Union bought tickets to the D-backs game on Labor Day again this year. The D-backs played the LA Dodgers. It was one of those games that you need to explain to your kids because people are booing and cheering all at the same time. Despite the D-backs losing, we had fun. The kids after the game

A little something to Blog about
So my BFF had to tell me that my sister was pregnant because I have not blogged or checked others blogs in a long time. So here I am still alive and doing well. Busy with school both for the kids and myself, babysitting to earn that much needed extra income, serving on the PTO at the kids school, doing church things that need to be done, running kids to Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, and church activities, and be a wife and mother.
PS Congrads to Tahmi! I love you and we are very happy for the Grandy Family!
