I bought my mixer about a year ago and decided to see if I could make the rolls by making the dough (I only know how to make over 100 rolls at a time) and freezing half the dough right before the final rising process. (I bake the other 1/2) They have turned out great!
After some lazy days I have not made rolls in awhile so I had a coupon for Rhodes rolls and bought them. I still had 5 rolls left from the last batch I made so I decided to see how mine did compared to the Rhodes.
I found, as you can see, that mine look almost the same going in but they rise and bake quicker. They are both still yummy but if your kids are like mine, the big rolls went first.
