Jared's Baptism was held on Saturday, November 7th, 2009 at 2:00 pm. It was wonderful and he was so exited and happy. Lyle went hunting the week before and came home just in time to take a shower and get ready to leave. When we got to the church they did not have the keys to the white clothes or the font. When they finally got the keys we had to wait for the font to fill-up (which takes about 45 minutes). We all headed in the chapel and started the program. Jared said the water was cold.I'm so happy for my "Little Lyle" and his decision to get baptised. I think he was happy for the attention and the gifts. A member from our ward gave him a blanket that he has wrapped himself in everyday. He was very upset that I wanted to wash it.
Friends and family came over to our house after the baptism and enjoyed baked potatoes, veggies, and yummy Costco cake. All in all it was a great day!
